The Peterson Website

The Johnson side of the family came primarily from Ringebu, in the Gudbransdalen Valley, which means "God's Shining Valley."

One great source of information came from this web site and has information going back to 0A.D.  Jens Olsen Bjørgerønningen from this site would be my G-G-G-Grandfather, and luckily was the one person that converges upon the family tree from this Norwegian site and mine.
