In July, we took a 4-day camping trip near Taylor Park Reservoir which is near the small town of Buena Vista. We stayed at one of the local campgrounds called "Dinner Station," that was used as a stage coach stop back in the 1800's. Taylor Park is known as a great place for ATVing, as one can ride their ATV directly from their camp location. This saves one from having to unload/load a trailer, along with the travel time. Most of the individuals where fairly courteous by keeping their speeds and noise down in the campground. Taylor Park is also known for its fishing, with large lake trout in the reservoir, along with the numerous streams. Garrett did catch a nice little trout that he was proud of...it was also his first experience in cleaning a fish. Here are a few pictures of the Taylor Park area...
