Back in June 2008, we traveled back to Wisconsin to visit family and a bit of vacation.   Of course, we managed to time this trip with some of the worst weather that Wisconsin has seen for some time.

We started our trip visiting Jeff's family in the small town of Viroqua, Wisconsin.  We were amazed with all of the damage to the various roads, bridges, and dams that had occurred due to the heavy rain.  During our stay here, we took Garrett to the small 2 room school that Jeff attended from 1st - 4th grade.  We then managed to take a river boat cruise up the Mississippi.

The next part of our trip took us to the water park capital of the U.S...Wisconsin Dells.  For those that have never been there, it has gotten quite"touristy" over the years, but is still a lot of fun with all of the water parks and cruising up/down the river in the "Ducks."

As Packer fans, we made a side trip to Green Bay to check out the famous Lambeau Field...home of the Green Bay Packers.  We

On the return, we decided to drive down through Manitowoc and follow Lake Michigan for the view.  A quick trip in Manitowoc found us in a maritime museum where we toured a WWII submarine.

Here are the pictures of our Wisconsin vacation...
